“Allow Nature’s peace to flow into you as sunshine flow into trees.”
– John Muir
Our Souls are like an exquisite garden that needs to be nurtured and cared for. They need to be loved. That’s why tending Gaia means we tend to the “Garden of our Soul” as well.
Our society doesn’t honor self- love, therefore our first job is to unravel all the lies we’ve been programmed to believe. These include beliefs such as not being good enough, smart enough, pretty enough or even rich enough. All the untruths fed to us by a broken society. In truth, we are each a miracle of life.
As brave souls, we’ve come to this Planet to not only ascend ourselves, but to assist in the Earth’s Ascension as well.
It seems only the truest of hearts would choose such a mission. And WE are those brave hearts! And because of this, it’s time for us to honor our greatness and to truly love ourselves.
To begin this journey, we’ll start with the physical body. In caring for your body, how do you nourish yourself? What kind of foods do you eat? What kind of physical activities do you engage in? And how much quiet and rest time do you give yourself in order to renew your Spirit? All part of loving YOU!
The foods you choose are so important, especially as you evolve more into Light.
The foods you eat should be full of Light as well.
Produce that is grown organically is often filled with Light! It is grown using natural amendments which enliven the soil life which then enlivens the plants and the fruits they produce. All grown in harmony which creates a higher frequency. Foods grown with chemicals or GMOs carry a low frequency, often devoid of Light. That’s why it’s important to choose your food wisely. This reminds me of an amazing book I’ve read titled ” The Invisible Power of Foods; a comparison of Organic and Non-Organic” written by AW Danzer. It’s full of crystalline image photographs taken by the “Live Vision Lab of Soyana”. These images clearly show how the foods grown organically are full of beauty and symmetry, while the images of conventional industrial foods were often incomplete and chaotic.
We honor ourselves when we choose foods that are full of Light!
Another important aspect of self-care is to engage in activities that nourish you. It’s important to stay active at whatever level is right for you. This will keep your heart and circulatory system healthy, your lungs open and full of prana (life- force energy), and your bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints will remain strong and supple. Some form of physical activity will also help your body to clear both physical and emotional toxins as well. Movement helps to balance your body, mind and spirit, so find time each day to engage in some form of activity. Whether you walk, ride, swim.paddle, stretch or dance, all are enlivening to the body and will keep you healthy. All part of self-care.
And finally one of the most important things you can do for yourself is to spend time in Nature.
Even if you live in the city, there are still parks, green belts and community gardens you can go to. As humans we are made of the Earth and the Stars and it’s so important to connect with our roots. Whether you walk through the woods, work in the garden, play at the seashore, talk to the bees, sing with the birds, or even lie in a field of wildflowers, ALL are food for the Soul. And when night falls, if you have the chance to commune with the stars, then you will fill your cup up even more!
As you can see, there are so many wonderful ways to tend to the “Garden of Your Soul”. Whether it’s through good food, good movement or time spent in Nature, all of these things will nourish you from the inside out and make you whole. And that’s a reason to smile!
